James first came to us age 14 as a rookie in the Junior Saloon Car Champion driving a Citroen Saxo VTR. At the time, we build him a single page static website that suited his needs. It gave him an online presence, a central hub to display information and a place for him to be contacted.
As he became more successful and had more to show, his site needed to be easier to manage but also more mature. He’d made it into the Renault Clio Cup UK and was just one step below the Touring Cars having won every championship he’d entered. His site needed to reflect this.
We started with a blank canvas. We were confident that his results of the 2017 season would be worth shouting about so put them high up the home page and we weren’t disappointed. We also created a feature unique to James, where his race results would appear intermingled between news stories to make his news page more exciting and relevant.
As well this as a fully responsive website, we got the opportunity to design his helmet and race car. An opportunity that we couldn’t resist.
