support local charities

As part of our on-going commitment to charity work, we endeavour to offer support wherever we can and where resource allows throughout the year.

Not just for the feel good factor, but to also try and help organisations that need it the most.

Whether that's trying as hard as possible (and failing miserably) to grow a tache for Movember...

or designing and building a website for a local bike ride charity (who have raised over Β£150,000 since it's inception) we have tried to play a part, no matter how big or small.

We were recently approached by one of our clients to see if we could help him produce some artwork for a race night he was hosting for a local charity. Barnsley Hospice is a charity which provides specialist compassionate care to hundreds of local people every year from all over Barnsley, and one that is extremely close to our client's heart. So much so, that he wanted to give something back to them and help in any way he could.

Of course we were happy to help and arranged for all the required literature to be designed and produced before the starting stalls were opened for the first race.

Held at the Keel at Stairfoot, the night went down a storm and a good night was had by everyone. Our client almost quadrupled his target and all takings were donated in full to the Hospice. We were delighted with how much he achieved and the awareness he raised.

It's safe to say that any charity work, no matter how big or small gives you an irreplaceable sense of achievement and pride of doing something to help others who are often less fortunate than ourselves.

We doff our caps Dave, a very well done from everyone at Prototype. We heard the pie and peas were outstanding too.
