As you may know, we are celebrating a big milestone this year – it’s our tenth birthday!

Over the years, we have grown from a two-man band to an office filled with employees with different skills across design and digital marketing, so we thought it was only right that we celebrated with those who helped us get to this point. On Friday 10th February, we closed the studio down and flew everyone to Dublin for two nights.

We stayed at the Clayton Hotel, in Ballsbridge, which is a gorgeous Victorian building with beautiful landscaped gardens. While we were there, we met some of our clients in Dublin and introduced them to our team, including one of the capital’s leading marketing agencies. But, it was more play than work – we were celebrating after all.

We had a great time at Bolt Escape Games in Dublin. We were split into two teams, in two different rooms. Gav’s team were in the Detention Time room while Josh’s had to solve a Casino Heist. Both teams had 60 minutes to find clues, break codes and solve logical puzzles. We both managed to escape, although Gav’s team did it in a quicker time!

And, of course, what is a trip to Ireland without Guinness? We’d be lying if we said we didn’t drink our fair share! We did the Guinness Storehouse tour, sampling the freshest pint of Guinness available anywhere in the world. It went down a treat. We would certainly recommend the tour to anyone visiting Dublin. You make your way through seven floors of interactive experiences and are then rewarded with a pint once you get to the rooftop Gravity Bar.

We enjoyed our new favourite drink in a few bars around the city, where we listened to live Irish music and watched the rugby. It was a great weekend, and excellent for company moral all round. We are counting down the days until our next big milestone!
